Does a bigger tub of yoghurt cost less?

Usually, yes. At Woolworths on 31 October 2026, a Jalna Pot Set Greek Style Natural 170g pot was 2 dollars 05, or 1 dollar 21 per 100g. Chobani Greek Natural Light was 6 dollars 50 for 500g, or 1 dollar 30, and 8 dollars 80 for 907g, or 97 cents.

Bigger is not always cheaper, though. At Woolworths this week, Jalna Sweet and Creamy Greek Style Yoghurt 1kg was 7 dollars 20 on special, or 72 cents per 100g. In Discount Trolley, the 2kg Jalna Sweet and Creamy tub was 15 dollars, or 75 cents. Two 1kg tubs at 14 dollars 40 cost less than one 2kg tub. At ALDI, the Greek Style Pot Set 1kg was 65 cents per 100g and the 2kg tub was 11 dollars 99, or 60 cents.

Is yoghurt cheaper at Woolworths, Coles or ALDI?

Woolworths and Coles matched on Jalna and Chobani this week. In Discount Trolley on 31 October 2026, Jalna Sweet and Creamy Greek Style Yoghurt 1kg was 7 dollars 20 at both, and Chobani Greek Yogurt Natural Light 907g was 8 dollars 80 at both.

The store brands were close too. Woolworths Vanilla Yoghurt 1kg was 4 dollars at Woolworths. In Discount Trolley, Coles Simply Vanilla Yoghurt 1kg was also 4 dollars at Coles, and Coles Light Greek Style Yoghurt 1kg was 4 dollars 50, or 45 cents per 100g.

ALDI had the lowest Greek style tubs we found. ALDI Greek Style Thick and Creamy Natural Yogurt 1kg and ALDI Light Greek Style Natural Yogurt 1kg were 3 dollars 89 each, or 39 cents per 100g.
